Shoot: Katelyn & Mike. Married.

We caught up with Mike and well...a 'little while' later, the gorgeous Katelyn to begin their production of a wedding in the most apt of locations at the MPAC, and a butt-grabbing first look later this pair of Bears fans and their assembled bridal army hit the streets for some kick-assery, before heading back up to complete the formalities (complete with a unity crate, which Katelyn absolutely 'nailed') before the party began...Katelyn & Mike. It was nice to see so many familiar faces, and even nicer to see Meredith & Rob in front of the camera again for their big day that kicked off in 'Tosa with so many friends and family the church was literally a packed house before a road trip out to Okauchee with a stop in between for some windy kick-assery and tick checks, where we were entertained with epic speeches, plenty of alcohol, the world's largest pork chops, stick on mustaches and a horses head... so yeah, pretty standard night for these guys..Meredith & Rob. Shoot: Kim & Nick. Engaged.

Drink these guys in as it's a one-stop wonder... in a few short weeks, Kim & Nick will be tying the knot in Punta Cana while we all freeze our faces off here in Wisco.. and to celebrate, they threw a bone to the homeland and had their engagement session done in yet another window of dryness in an otherwise soggy afternoon... later to be joined by their incredibly polite and well behaved four-legged buddies, they spent a solid hour demonstrating undeniably great Sears level GQ, wedgin' it up with the best of them.. sad to miss the wedding, but happy to have spent some time with these guys..Kim & Nick. Shoot: Clearwater Family. Hangin'

A revisit from one of the first sessions I ever did took me up to see Jen at Covered Bridge park in Cedarburg, though this time she brought the whole clan out... amongst a throng of other families who had the same idea, the rain held off just long enough to allow Jen, Rob and the girls their fashionable entrance, just as the rest of the family (including small pony Sherman) was getting mutinous...Clearwater Family from Steve Bowman on Vimeo.

Shoot: Lauren & Danny. Married.

Meeting up with the adorable Lauren & Danny and their Bridal Army at the Holiday Inn in Delafield before heading over to St John's with it's chapel that made me a little homesick, we managed to dodge the threatening rain aside from a brief sun shower for luck, had a few shots at the bar, then onto the park to capture the Many Faces of Danny & Co. then across Waukesha county ahead of a storm to Brandybrook, a few more drinks while the rain wore itself out before more pictures, a little food, some sing-a-long speeches, an insight into their TV watching habits, some non-conventional formal dances and the grad finale of the Klement's Racing Sausages slow dancing to techno.. yep, it was that kind of day...Lauren & Danny. Shoot: Andrea & Travis. Engaged.

Really... all couples should bring along cupcakes to their engagement session.. and not as props...that would be.. twee..and I don't do twee. They should also look as sparkly as Cedarburg's very own Andrea and Travis, and pick out cool locations where we can pretty much take over the place for waaay longer than we're supposed to...even an impending drizzle-storm and fast falling dark couldn't dampen these guys and escape artist Rigsby's last minute cameo truly pushed them over the edge of adorable..Andrea & Travis. Shoot: Lisa & Corey. Married.

Well, they say the best thing come in small packages, and this wedding was proof of that once more... yet Lisa & Corey proved that even if you're just having your closest friends along for the party, you can still do it right, with all of the trimmings and belles and whistles and zombie-hunting-nerf-guns.. perfectly married intimacy with glamour for these self-confessed geeks for who WoW has a double meaning.. it was such an honour to be there for these guys..gosh I even have teared up a lil during their vows.. there are vows and there are vows.. these were neither.. they really were vows...Lisa & Corey.
