Rounding out the weekend with the adorable Nena & Zach over at Whitnall Park.. and yes, they were as much fun as they looked... all it takes is smashing my neck into a tree and a double entendre to get them going apparently, though there was no shortage of other park denizens to help out with entertainment.. the girl who biffed it seemingly out of nowhere, the old guy with the Vote for Pedro shirt and of course the other photographer who seemed to be everywhere I needed to be...conversations about cheese berries, super loud crunchy leaves, and how not to care for pet frogs and it was all over aside from some final moments of PDA in front of some weird emo kids.. just that kind of night... Starting out October on a gorgeous note with Korina & Mike for a tour of Lapham Peak.. a couple of weeks ago it looked like we'd hit the colours just right, but nature had other plans of course, though I don't think it matters what the trees look like when you look this good.. so after we broke them in with some tasteful wedding stories and warning them just how awful the shoot would be, it proved to be anything but..my daring feet of clambering around on the top of the railings of the observation tower proved only less heroic than watching Korina navigate nature in those wedges...can't wait to see these guys next August... Off to the lakefront for the lovely Lauren & Dylan...after kicking a guy off a bench, we kicked off ourselves at Lakeshore Park, then down to the docks...after a quick change for Lauren while Dylan, Neil and I discussed the finer points of Crown green bowling, we wandered around Discovery Word, kicked another guy off a bench so bask in the sunset, before heading over to the MAM to climb around the bridge before i finally, and very reluctantly I might add.. released them into the wild... A weekend road trip down to the big smoke for these Appleton kids, the gorgeous Jaime & Trevor... and where else to take them but the dingy back alleys of the Fifth Ward, right? Safe in the knowledge that all our shots were up to date, it was off for plenty of sitting, leaning and walking around rail tracks before heading off over the river to the HD museum.. briefed on what to say if security rolled up, it was a race against the fading light, all timed perfectly to end the session with the city lights behind them and it was off to Kopps to round off the night.. right after Trevor saved my ass and jumped my dead truck's battery. Thanks man. Jaime & Trevor. Engaged. from Steve Bowman on Vimeo.

Rounding off the weekend with the sublime Miranda & Kyle, who with no prompting from me picked out one of my favourite places to hook up, and so it was we took a tour of nature, at time probably getting a little more off-roady than we needed to chasing the sun across the field, but they stood, sat and walked like complete pro's and it wasn't until we had them laying down in the middle of the path that the great swathes of other people showed up, which of course was perfect timing...
